TL's PGA Tour Brunch -Masters Sunday
@terrylyons @pgatourbrunch - Dustin Johnson Tied Masters' 54-Hole record
Tournament Notes:
Dustin Johnson will take his four-stroke lead, which tied the Masters Tournament scoring record for 54 holes (200) into today’s final round. Johnson tied Tiger Woods’ Masters Tournament record with his 10th consecutive under-par score. That said, DJ is 0-for-4 with the 54-hole lead/or/co-lead in major championships. In other words, the pressure is on.
No player has ever recorded four scores in the 60s in one Masters Tournament. This year, Abraham Ancer (68-67-69) and Cameron Smith (67-68-69) can each become the first to accomplish the feat with a final-round score in the 60s.
World No. 2 Jon Rahm (72) and No. 3 Justin Thomas (71) failed to break 70 for the first time in the tournament after they each held a share of the 36-hole lead but now enter the final round outside the top five.
Tiger Woods enters today’s final round T-20 after an even-par (72) Saturday.
Two amateurs made the cut: Andy Ogletree T-36 (-2) and John Augenstein T-50 (E).
We’re All Caught Up: There’s no more weather issues so Sunday’s final round at The Masters will begin at 7:50am ET with players teeing off on both No. 1 and No. 10. The leaders’ threesome of Dustin Johnson, Sungjae Im, Abraham Ancer will tee-off on No. 1 at 9:29am ET.
The Masters in November does have one main consideration and as Yogi Berra once said of a trip to the West Coast, “It gets late out there early.” Thus, the need for threesomes and the early Eastern Standard start times.

Leaderboard After Three Rounds
Dustin Johnson 65-70-65—200 (-16)
Sungjae Im 66-70-68—204 (-12)
Abraham Ancer 68-67-69—204 (-12)
Cameron Smith 67-68-69—204 (-12)
Dylan Frittelli 65-73-67—205 (-11)
