As reported yesterday in multiple sports biz and business publications, Callaway Golf closed on a deal to purchase the remaining shares of Topgolf. Callaway had already owned 14% of the entertainment/driving range company. (The Street)
The World Golf Championship-HSBC Champions, scheduled for October 29-November 1 was cancelled by the International Federation of PGA Tours. The tournament was scheduled to take place at the Sheshan International Golf Club in Shanghai, China.
PGA Show is the latest of COVID-19 cancellations (Golf Digest)
The Bermuda Tourism Authority, the event’s title sponsor, signed a five-year deal, to support this tournament through (at least) 2023.
