
Peter Malnati shot and eight-under (63) to take the first round lead at the Bermuda Championship. He is seeking his third-consecutive top-5 finish on the PGA Tour this season.
Ryan Armour’s one-under (70) puts him in the clubhouse with the tournament lead T-1 (-8) while Kramer Hickok is four under through 14 and is currently (-8) in the second round as of posting this today.
Henrik Stenson withdrew from the tournament with back issues.
With the tournament in the Atlantic time zone, golfers teed-off at 6:35am ET/7:35am (Local) for Round-2 this morning. Malnati teed-off at 11:55am (ET)/12:55pm (Local) or about five minutes ago.

Tournament Notebook
Doug Ghim yesterday made seven birdies and no bogeys to shoot a 7-under (64), his lowest score on tour since a first-round 63 at the 2019 Farmers Insurance Open.
Doc Redman holed out for an eagle-2 from 94 yards at the 15th hole to card a 6-under (65), extending his streak of sub-par scores this season to a perfect 11-for-11.
Will Zalatoris came into the tournament three points shy of earning Special Temporary Membership to the PGA Tour. He opened with 2-under (69). and is seeking his fourth top-10 finish in his fifth start of the season (T-6/U.S. Open, T-8/Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship, T-5/Shriners Hospitals for Children Open).
Defending champion Brendon Todd opened with an even-par (71).
There were only four bogey-free rounds yesterday: Ryan Armour (64), Doug Ghim (64), Ryan Brehm (68), Scott Stallings (68).
